Aronia (black chokeberry) – a super food but you need to get the real organic stuff

Aronia

Based on the current trends stores are overflowing with super foods and black chokeberry is definitely one of them and no wonder. It is considered one of the healthiest fruits in the world.
And there are many reasons for it. Aronia contains plenty of vitamins (C, B1, B2, B6, E), minerals, antioxidants and other valuable elements. It also recommended for diabetics, because it contains hydrochloric acid, which slows down absorption of glucose.
Why is aronia a super food?

These inconspicuous little black fruits are very nutritious and have many antioxidant properties, they also prevent accumulation of bad cholesterol on artery walls, help regulate blood pressure and thus protect our bodies from dreaded heart diseases. Aronia seems to possess the ability to fight civilization diseases.

If you drink chokeberry juice regularly you will be able to reduce inflammation in your arteries and lower high blood pressure. Regular consumption of chokeberries also prevents atherosclerosis. Despite the fact that all these beneficial properties of aronia were “discovered” relatively recently, a number of studies were already performed and the studies confirmed all of them.

You can drink as much chokeberry juice as you wish

Apparently, chokeberries have no side effects, so consuming chokeberries will not cause digestive problems. Feel free to drink fresh chokeberry juice every day. In addition to the above benefits, berries also calm your nerves and support body functions in general.
Unfortunately, chokeberry products available in stores lack most of these valuable properties. So, if you want to reap all the benefits, look for organic products or farms where you can buy the real stuff and prepare healthy products at home. Or you may start growing aronia in your garden. It is not difficult at all!
