Tomato and pepper seedlings love natural fertilizer. Give them some
Do you already have beautiful seedlings at home, or are you still waiting to sow? Either way, it’s definitely worth finding a quality fertilizer that will help your seedlings grow. Tomatoes and peppers are the most commonly sown. We will take a closer look at the best fertilizer for these seedlings in the following lines. Of course, natural fertilization once or twice a week is ideal. So what ingredients should you use to help your pepper and tomato seedlings thrive?
Eggshells in action
Ordinary eggshells are an excellent choice for pepper and tomato seedlings. Take the shells from two to three eggs and wash them thoroughly. Then dry them and wrap them in a thin cloth. Next, crush them thoroughly with a rolling pin or mortar and pestle. If you manage to create a fine powder, you’re done. Pour this powder into a three-liter container of water and let it stand for three days. The contents must be stirred regularly. The resulting liquid is then diluted with water in a ratio of 1:3. Among other things, the liquid contains:
- iron,
- potassium,
- phosphorus,
- magnesium
- and calcium.
Seedlings grown from mixtures only need to be watered three times. This will be more than enough to revive the seedlings and help them grow.

Dried yeast costs just a few cents
There’s no doubt about that. What’s more, you can buy it at any supermarket. Mix it with warm water. The ratio should be 10 grams of dried yeast to 10 liters of water. Seedlings are also watered with this mixture three times throughout their growth period. They should be stronger and grow faster.
Banana peels can also help
Banana peels must first be thoroughly dried. Then mix them with 3 liters of warm water. Leave the bowl with the mixture to stand for several days so that the ingredients mix thoroughly. The liquid is then diluted with water in a 1:1 ratio.

What about onion skins?
These are also excellent as a fertilizer base for seedlings. Simply pour 5 liters of water over about two handfuls of onion skins. Let it boil and then strain the solution. Then pour it over the seedlings.
