How to Marinate Pork Tenderloin: If you marinate pork tenderloin properly it will literally melt in your mouth. It is not a science so, here we go.

First, you need to trim the meat to make sure that it is equally thick at both ends (it cooks better) and now when you have one or more uniform pink rolls, you can start with the marinating process .

Basic herb marinade

for 700-800 g of meat

  • 2 tablespoons of chopped herbs or 1 tablespoon of dried rosemary, coriander, thyme, oregano, parsley – separate herbs or in a mixture

  • 4 tablespoons of good quality oil

  • a bit of pepper

Now you add:

  • 2-3 cloves of minced garlic

  • 1 tablespoon of paprika (may be smoked), cumin or a mixture of other spices you like

Grilling

Let the meat rest for an hour at room temperature before placing it on the grill. Heat the grill to high temperature, brush some of the marinade off the meat and put it on the grill. Grill for about twenty minutes and turn every five minutes. Grill on four sides. Let it rest for another five minutes and when done, add salt. Slice and serve.

Additional seasoning

Pesto, for example, is great and you add it when the meat is on a plate. Pesto is traditionally made from basil and pine nuts and it is usually served with pasta. You can also use other herbs and nuts, depending on your preferences or on what goes well with the relevant recipe. You can also add various herbs and nuts into soup, roasted vegetables, potatoes or grilled meat.
