Get rid of spider mites naturally
Spider mites are a very unpleasant enemy that attacks both indoor and outdoor plants. You can tell that you got these dangerous pests if you notice a white “dust” on leaves which look as if they have been sprinkled with flour. If you do not take an action immediately, the leaves will get a silvery tint and gradually wither, turn yellow and dry completely. The sooner you intervene, the greater the chance that you will save the plant and eliminate reproduction of spider mites, which means that you saved other plants too.
What do spiders mites look like?
Spider mites are tiny creatures and resemble tiny dots. You can see them under leaves. They may be white, whitish to orange, or even black and they love to attack houseplants, vegetables, fruit trees. Well, all plants really. Do not expect to get rid of them with just one action. Removing spider mites takes time.

Onion spray
One of the most popular sprays used against spider mites is made from onions. You can make it in the comfort of your own home and it is pretty easy. You will be using material that will end up in the compost (or even the trash) anyway. Onion skins. Put onion skins in a container and pour boiling water in. The more skins you have, the better. Let it sit for at least three days. When done, strain and pour the liquid into a spray bottle. Apply directly to affected plants, especially under leaves.
Chamomile extract
Another great method is to use a chamomile decoction. Pour five to six tablespoons of chamomile flowers into a bucket and add one litre of water. Let it sit. Strain through a fine cloth, and even squeeze the remaining flowers to get the most aroma. Dilute the decoction with water in 1:5 ratio before application. Use a spray bottle, especially on the underside of the leaves. You should spray every three days for 3 weeks.
Soap
Soap is another option. Grate soap and put it in a pot and pour hot water in. Again use a spray bottle to spray the affected plants.
Chemicals
If none of the above methods work, you can buy commercial products but pay attention to mixing instructions before application. It may be a difficult or even confusing sometimes. Best if you read the instructions in the store before you buy it.
