The main thing is simplicity. You don’t have to take the advice of famous chefs.
Some basic ingredients not only from the garden
Chicken broth logically requires first of all high-quality chicken meat.
You can buy chicken skeletons, which are inexpensive, but you have to take into account that there is not much meat left on them. Chicken drumsticks are ideal. There is more meat on these. But you can also choose thighs or chicken quarters. It depends on how much meat you want in your soup. The vegetables you will need are celery, parsley, carrots, onions and cranberries. When it is not in the garden, just a piece of parsley. Green is needed in the soup.

How to make a proper chicken broth
Nothing complicated at all. Simply put all the ingredients into a larger pot. Then pour water into the pot so that everything is submerged. Then we start to boil the broth. As far as the broth draw time is concerned, it is individual. Ideally, it should be cooked for as long as possible on a low heat. We usually only need about an hour and a half to two hours and all the ingredients are cooked. Then you just cut them into smaller parts, turn the meat and salt the broth.

Noodles, dumplings or dripping?
It’s up to you. The easiest way is to cook noodles. These are cooked out of the broth and put into it when it is served on a plate. Meat dumplings take longer. We prepare drippings routinely, however, noodles have now been given priority. You can see for yourself. The broth was really worth it.
