You’ll fall in love with them. Flowers that bloom all summer long
Do you know what most gardeners wish for? For their gardens to bloom continuously and to harvest as much fruit as possible. Gardens that are always in bloom are a dream for many of us. However, if we want a garden like this, we must choose the right flowers that can bloom without any problems all summer long. We will focus on these very flowers in much greater detail in the following paragraphs. There are several such types of flowers, and planting them is definitely worth it. A combination of colors and scents is guaranteed.
Lavender brings the scent of summer and tranquility
An incredible scent. That’s what always comes to mind whenever I think of lavender. It is a beautiful, but above all practical, plant. Its lovely purple flowers evoke the atmosphere of a Mediterranean garden. Among other things, lavender also symbolizes life; after all, swarms of bumblebees, bees, and other insects are always found around them. A sunny and drier spot is ideal for lavender. Once it has taken root, it requires minimal care overall. It fits beautifully in spots along walkways or terraces.
Petunias: The Queens of Balconies and Window Boxes
These are probably the most popular flowering plants of all. These annuals have earned their popularity mainly thanks to the vast number of beautiful, colorful flowers. There is often a flood of them throughout the summer. A sunny location is very important for petunias. Regular care is also a must. They need high-quality soil, plenty of water, and proper fertilization. We mustn’t forget to remove dead parts so that new buds can form.

African marigolds can survive just about anything
Would you prefer flowers that are virtually maintenance-free and can survive almost anything? African marigolds are simply a classic in our gardens. They are absolutely low-maintenance and are characterized by an extremely long blooming period, which is ideal. They literally brighten up any flower bed with their orange, red, or yellow hues. Among other things, marigolds are known for their ability to tolerate completely dry soil for extended periods. They also repel certain common pests, so we often like to plant them among our vegetables. We had them among our tomatoes last year, and they worked great.

Zinnias can also bring genuine summer joy. If you have space in a sunny flower bed, they definitely belong there. Zinnias need plenty of water and bloom from May until late fall. The more flowers you cut for a vase, the more the plant will produce. There are no better flowers for summer bouquets.
