Cleaning floors is one of the regular tasks involved in household cleaning. You simply can’t do without it. Still, it’s worth making even the simple task of mopping the floor much easier. There are, in fact, ideas that really do help. One excellent option is making a homemade cleaner that gives floors a brilliant shine and ensures perfect cleanliness. Its main ingredient is fabric softener.

How to make a great homemade floor cleaner

It’s very easy to make; we only need a few ingredients. Specifically, we needed:

– a small measuring cup of fabric softener,

– a small measuring cup of vodka,

– 1 liter of water.

We mixed both ingredients in warm water. Everything dissolved thoroughly, and we were ready to start cleaning. After applying this homemade cleaner, the tiles literally shine perfectly. There’s no need to polish them extensively afterward.

Vinegar floor cleaner with fabric softener

If you don’t want to use vodka and would prefer a cleaner that also helps remove limescale in certain areas, then this cleaner is excellent. To make it, we needed:

– 2 tablespoons of fabric softener,

– 5 liters of warm water,

– 1 tablespoon of dish soap,

– 100 ml of vinegar.

We poured warm water into a bucket and then added the fabric softener. Next, we mixed in the dish soap, and finally added the vinegar. Once the mixture was thoroughly combined, we could apply it to a mop and start cleaning.
