Many uses of aluminium foil

We all know how to use aluminium foil. Most of us use it for baking or packaging but aluminium foil has many other uses that many people do not know about. In addition to baking and packaging it may be used for washing and ironing… Here is how.

Ironing?

Many clothing items produced today do not require ironing. You just hung it out and that is it. But more conservative clothing such as shirts and pants still require ironing. To make ironing easier put an aluminium foil under the ironing board. Aluminium foil collects the heat and helps you to warm up shirts and other clothing items. This will reduce ironing time significantly.

Aluminium in washing machines

Yes. Put two balls of aluminium foil in your washing machine. Aluminium will remove static electricity and even hair from your laundry. A combination with vinegar also works great. Vinegar removes bacteria and your clothes will look fresh. Do not forget to dry your laundry as soon as possible, because wet clothing promotes formation of bacteria.

When should you take wet laundry out of the washing machine? Well, as soon as possible. Remember that the longer it stays in the washing machine, the greater the risk of getting clothes wrinkled and smelly. Aluminium foil and vinegar extends the time, but do not leave wet clothing in the washing machine too long.
