Baking soda

Mix two equal parts of baking soda and water and stir well until you create a paste. This mixture works best on light mould stains and prevents future growth of moulds. Apply the paste onto the affected area and use a small brush to scrape off any stains. Now, mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda with 2 cups of water, stir well and pour into a spray bottle. Spray the affected area. Do not touch it again. The mixture will help prevent new mould formation.

Vinegar

White vinegar is an affordable natural solution which works well on black mould. It offers antibacterial acidic properties which you need to combat mould. Pour undiluted vinegar into a spray bottle and spray directly on stains. If you deal with a light stain only, just wipe the stain with a piece of cloth dipped in vinegar. That should do the trick. If it does not work, use an old toothbrush to scrub and remove the mould. Let the vinegar dry and then wipe it off with a damp cloth to get rid of the vinegar smell.
