Pests attack. Have the right mixture of vinegar and soap ready and you should be okay
Pests often appear even before your plants have a fair chance to grow and get stronger. So, can you deal with these annoying creatures without using chemicals? Well, you can. Use products that you have at home anyway.
Soap and vinegar against peach scale
You can recognize Parthenolecanium quite easily. If you see disc-shaped dots on branches you know that your plant is suffering from these ugly pests. Here is how to get rid of them. Take a cup of water and grate one tablespoon of soap. Add the grated soap in the cup and add the same amount of vinegar. Stir and you are done. Dip a cloth or toothbrush into the solution and carefully scrub the affected plant, removing the bumps. You need to repeat this process several times.
You may also use natural products based on paraffin or pine oil. But peach scale is pretty tough and if all natural remedies fail, you may have to use to chemicals. If you do not, you will lose plant.

Try natural herbal sprays
You can also try decoctions made of nettle, garlic or onion. Pests hate all of them. Boil one tablespoon of any of these ingredients in one litre of water, let it cool and use as a spray. Another easy way is to use a mustard powder. Mix one tablespoon in 5 litres of water, let it sit for 20 minutes and apply.
In general, soap, water, vinegar and alcohol mixtures work well against almost all sucking pests but you need to repeat the process several times. These products usually do not work for the first time. You should closely monitor the occurrence of any pests and if you notice pests spray immediately.
If you fail to catch the problem at the beginning you may lose your plants, but that may not be the end of it anyway. Pests may spread and you will have to spend a lot of time trying to get rid of them. As always, prevention is much better than dealing with problems later.
