Ordinary salt or vinegar. You can get rid of weeds for practically nothing
Are you looking at the sidewalk in front of your house and noticing that various weeds have taken root in the cracks? It’s frustrating, but you have no choice but to remove these plants somehow. Of course, you’d like to do this without much effort and as cheaply as possible. That’s why, in the following lines, we’ll focus on some tips and tricks that can help you. Quickly, cheaply, and as effectively as possible.
Plain hot water works wonders
That’s right. Just bring water to a boil and pour it over the plants growing in the paving stones. They certainly won’t like the hot water; it will burn them and cause them to die. However, this is a method that is quite labor-intensive and requires a large amount of hot water.
Baking soda tackles weeds
Anyone can manage this relatively simple trick with baking soda. Just sprinkle it between the cracks in the pavement. Both nettles and other weeds will definitely avoid these spots because they can’t stand sodium.

Often, plain salt is enough
Salt is also among the substances that are harmful to plants. It only takes a small amount to reach the roots for the plant to begin withering. Rain will ensure that the salt reaches the roots of the weeds themselves.
Vodka Spray
This isn’t expensive either. Mix 1 centiliter of vodka, which you’ve diluted in liquid soap. Then add 2 cups of water. Spray the weeds. As soon as the sun hits them, they’ll gradually start to wither. They’ll simply dry out.
Mulching works in the garden bed
Ideally, spread a layer of mulch around the plants to cover the weeds around them. The weeds won’t have a chance to grow properly. They need sunlight, after all.

Weeds don’t like cornmeal either
This flour can stop weeds before they even grow. Just sprinkle it lightly in areas where weeds typically thrive.
