How to propagate geraniums successfully. It’s really not complicated at all
Would you like to propagate geraniums at home? Sure, why not? Beautiful new plants on your windowsills can look great all summer long and even part of the fall. Rooting geraniums doesn’t always work, and it’s often a relatively complicated process. We have an interesting method for you that is also very simple. Geraniums will root without any major problems, and you will have a beautiful exterior with everything you need. So how do you do it?
A banana as a basic helper
We will only need a few things. Specifically, it will be:
- one banana,
- a plastic bottle,
- geranium cuttings.
Prepare the cuttings
The first step is to prepare the cuttings. We should only select healthy and strong parts. All lower leaves must be removed. Either simply tear them off or cut them off. It should be very easy. The leaves will basically remain only in the upper part of the cutting itself. The cut of each cutting should be slanted.

A plastic bottle will help maintain the temperature
Cut off the top of a plastic bottle. Cover the pot and the cutting with it. In about 90 days, you should have a fairly lush bush. After a while, it will delight you with beautiful flowers.
